1. Find silicone moulds in the desired shapes (Christmas tree, star, snowman, etc.) For added originality, you can use Pebeo’s Siligum to create your customized moulds by moulding your favourite objects.
2. Roll a small stick of Siligum of about 5mm in diameter and put it in the upper part of the mould before it hardens (Once the two Siligum components are mixed together, the Siligum becomes hard and rubbery. This will make a hole that will allow hanging the decoration in your tree. (You can also use a precision drill once the piece is hardened.)
3. Prepare your Resin mix (In the box you will find: 1 bottle of hardener, 1 bottle of resin, 2 measuring cups, 2 mixing sticks, and a pair of gloves.)
In a plastic container, pour 1 dose of hardener and then 2 doses of resin. (We recommend that you use a disposable recipient, because once the two components are mixed, it becomes difficult to wash the recipient properly).
Using the mixing stick, stir the substance until it becomes homogenous. Mix slowly to avoid creating bubbles.
Tip:
To ensure that the resin is well mixed, you can transfer the mixture to another recipient.
4.Pour the Resin into the mould 5. Allow to dry 24 hours 6. Once dry, remove the Siligum stick and unmold your decoration.
7. It is now time for you to let your imagination free and decorate your piece with Vitrea 160 markers*. You can also decorate your piece with Fantasy Prisme and Moon paints! *Warning: This is a decorative piece - do not bake the resin after applying the marker.
8. Attach a ribbon or a string to your decoration to hang it in your Christmas tree.
You will have a unique Christmas tree, like no one else’s!
