1. Print your invitation text on vellum paper
(maximum printable area: 4” x 51⁄2”). 2. Use the craft knife to cut the paper to the following sizes: Grey cardstock:
51⁄2” x 71⁄4”. White cardstock: 41⁄2” x 61⁄4”. Vellum paper: 41⁄4” x 6” 3. Use double-sided tape to adhere the white cardstock to the centre of the
grey card backing.
4. Centre the vellum paper on the white cardstock. Gently pierce two holes through the three layers of paper (at the top corners of the vellum paper) using the tip of the knife; tack together with flower brads.
5. Cut two strips of paper to the following sizes: Grey cardstock: 2” x 51⁄2” Printed paper: 13⁄4” x 12”
6. Use double-sided tape to adhere the strip of patterned paper to the centre of the grey strip of paper, then wrap the strips around the card and tack the edges to the back. (Hint: Tack the two strips together with flower brads on either side of a heart brad.)
7. To make the reply cards, follow the above procedures but to the following sizes: Grey cardstock: 4” x 5”. White cardstock: 3” x 4”. Patterned paper: 3⁄4” x 10”
8. Seal the envelope with a wax seal.
Bomboniere Tip: Make little boxes out of the cardstock and embellish with ribbon, flower brads, and a heart sticker. Fill your boxes with candy, chocolates, or other favours, and place on the tables for your guests.
