How to make glitter slime

Step 1: Dissolve 1/4 cup of baking soda in approximately 2 cups of boiling water. Set it aside to cool.

Step 2: Empty an entire (147 ml) bottle of clear glue into a bowl. Add glitter and a few drops of food colouring to the glue, stir well.

Step 3: Pour approximately half the baking soda solution into the glue mixture and mix it well.

Step 4: When the glue mixture starts to clump together and form a sticky ball, remove it from the bowl of baking soda water. Allow it to dry a little by kneading it in your hands, letting it sit on a non-porous surface until the excess water evaporates or use a blow dryer.

* This recipe is a bit stickier than your average stretchy putty slime, but it is safe for young kids and easy to clean up with soap and water. If the slime is too fluid or sticking to your hands too much, simply dip your fingers in the remaining baking soda solution or add the slime back to the bowl of solution to let it firm up. Now you’ve been slimed!
