How to Make a Pressed Flower Wall Hanging


Step 1: Select your flowers and arrange them on a piece of paper. Once you are satisfied with their placement, place another piece of paper on top.

 

Step 2: Dry your flowers by ironing them through the paper on a low setting. Iron for approximately 15 seconds on low heat, let the paper cool for 15 seconds, then repeat until the flowers are stiff and dry.



Step 3: Separate the 2 panes of glass in the floating photo frame, arrange the dried flowers on one of the panes of glass and carefully put the other pane of glass on top. Return both panes of glass to the frame and hang.

Tips : Avoid hanging your arrangement in direct sunlight as the colours of the flowers may fade.
