Chalk Pastel Landscapes (FR)

Learn how to create beautiful landscapes using chalk pastels! In this two-hour workshop, you will learn how to tackle a landscape by simplifying patterns and amplifying colours to bring out the true essence of your image. Julie will share all her techniques for creating vibrant and relaxing moods! A great workshop for learning or improving existing pastel techniques.
 
Open to beginners and intermediates.

Part 1: Choosing your image

To begin, you will learn how to choose your images by looking beyond what you see at first glance. The goal of this exercise is to help you make images more artistic and inspiring.

Part 2: Exploring techniques

In Part 2, you will explore colour selection, applying the first layers of pastel, and working with layering and fading.

Part 3: Go one step further

Lastly, Julie will present the different types of pastels and explain how to use them. There will also be a Q & A session.
