Spend a Sunday afternoon exploring creative practices with BC-based artist, Kathryn Wadel. In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll create a series of abstract and illustrative drawings and paintings on paper using ink. Kathryn will introduce you to experimental drawing and painting techniques using a variety of inks and encourage the development of your creative practice. A fun way to explore your creativity!

Part 1 : Get to know your materials
To begin, Kathryn will provide an overview of the materials, as well as demonstrate drawing and painting techniques using a variety of inks.
Part 2 :
Creative practices
In part two, Kathryn will guide you through creative drawing and painting exercises to create a series of abstract and illustrative ink paintings on paper.
Part 3 :
Eco-conscious practices + Q & A
To end the workshop, Kathryn will share helpful tips for developing a more eco-conscious creative practice, followed by a Q & A to answer all your questions about drawing and painting with inks.
