Part I: Starting with The Basics

Couldn’t make it to Part I of the workshop? No worries! Kath presents different techniques in each part, so you can certainly complete Part II and/or III without having completed Part I.

Part II: Creating Textures with Household Materials

In Part II, Kathryn will focus on creating watercolour textures using household items including plastic bags, plastic/paper/reusable straws, salt, rice, rubbing alcohol, and more. After a step-by-step demonstration by the artist, students will be able to practice their techniques and create a series of textured watercolour paintings on cold press paper.

Part III: Combining Techniques with Creative Drawing

Part III will take place on Sunday, April 24th at 1 PM (EST). To register, click here.
