Part 1: Placing the subject
To begin the workshop, you will learn to properly visualize and place main portrait lines through the squaring technique. This will allow you to place your first guidelines quickly and efficiently. Julie will also give you some tips and tricks for positioning and visualizing positive and negative shapes.Part 2: Light and shadow
In part two, you will learn how to precisely define light and shadow areas. You will get tips and tricks on how to observe your work and get the right shades in the right places. Julie will also show you how to balance blurred and more detailed areas.Part 3: Detailing and finishing touches
To end the workshop, Julie will show you how to detail strokes and adjust contrasting areas to obtain a harmonious and accurate drawing.
