Dare the monochrome look for your next landscape! To begin, artist Maud Besson will present all the necessary materials and how to use them. You will then explore acrylic techniques while creating a beautiful monochrome landscape from A to Z. Step by step, Maud will show you all her techniques. A wonderful project for nature lovers who wish to explore the creation of artwork using a single hue.

Part 1: Getting to know your materialsTo begin, Maud will go through all the necessary materials for the workshop. She will also talk about acrylic paint and brushes.
Part 2: Project time (step 1)In part two, Maud will show you how to create your background and prepare your canvas with gesso.
Part 3: Project time (step 2)To end the workshop, Maud will show you how to create your landscape. She will also provide useful tips and tricks for framing and perspective.
List of materials to bring:
✓ HB and/or B pencils
✓ 1 square canvas (cardboard or mounted, 8 x 8 or 10 x 10 in)
✓ Set of hog bristle and synthetic bristle brushes in all sizes (square brushes, round brushes, and a very fine brush; including one 3/4" wide square brush, one 1/2" square brush, and one 1/4" square brush)
✓ Acrylic set (primary colours)
✓ 1 glass jar of water
✓ A well palette or disposable palette to mix your colours
✓ Hair dryer
