This workshop will allow you to learn more about watercolor and drawing techniques in the creation of portrait, especially in the realization of woman profile. Workshop highlights : Demonstration and explanation of the type of equipment used and its use. You will learn how to make beautiful profiles with fair lines, and then colorize them with watercolor. A project accessible to all will also be done during the workshop. Step by step, the artist Maud Besson will show you all her techniques!

Part 1 : Demonstration and explanation of materials
Maud will show you the type of material to use during the workshop including papers, pencils, as well as watercolors and brushes to be preferred.
Part 2 :
Project achievements
Maud will show you and explain her techniques for creating woman profiles with harmonious lines. Discover or rediscover several techniques related to drawing and watercolor. Get simple and practical tools to make beautiful portraits. Everything will be shown to you step by step.
List of materials to bring:
✓ Deserres HB or H graphite pencils
✓ Staedtler eraser
✓ Medium size watercolor brush + a finer brush
✓ Watercolor paint - Set of approximately 10-12 colors minimum in pots or tubes
✓ Masking fluid
✓ Watercolor paper sheet 9x12” or less (Or watercolor paper with a minimum thickness of 300 grams)
✓ A palette with cells to mix colors
✓ Approximately 11x14 ”masonite board
✓ Green masking tape low adhesion
✓ 2 jars of water.
✓ Kitchen towels and cloth rags.
✓ Hair dryer.
✓ A watercolor type paper to test the colors before applying them.
✓ A copy of the PDF file which contains the templates we need to complete the projects during the workshop.
