Celebrate the magic of winter! To begin, artist Maud Besson will present all the necessary materials and how to use them. You will then learn how to create beautiful, snowy watercolour landscapes. Several all-level projects will be completed during the workshop. Step by step, Maud will show you all her techniques!

Part 1: Getting to know your materialsTo begin, Maud will go through all the necessary materials for the workshop: papers, pencils, watercolours and brushes.
Part 2: Project timeIn part two, you will have the chance to discover or rediscover several drawing and watercolour techniques. Maud will explain her techniques for creating natural landscapes, as well as provide easy and useful tips.
List of materials to bring:
✓ HB or H graphite pencils
✓ Staedtler eraser
✓ Masking fluid
✓ #12 medium watercolour brush and a finer #2 brush + a very fine brush
✓ Watercolour paint (set of about 10-12 colours minimum, in pans or tubes)
✓ Watercolour paper pad (9 x 12 in, 300 g ideally)
✓ A well palette for mixing your colours
✓ Masonite board (approximately 11 x 14 in)
✓ Green low-tack tape
✓ 2 jars of water
✓ Paper towel and cloth
✓ Hair dryer
✓ A watercolour type paper to test your colours before applying them
✓ A printed copy of the PDF file that contains all necessary templates for the workshop
