The Candy Pigment 4600 series are highly pigmented paints that provide brilliant colour and a candy-coated finish to your projects. These paints are intermixable and offer endless possibilities for custom jobs. Candy pigments are transparent colors used for mid-coats over 4100 or 4300 Series Colours or alone as an airbrush color. These colours are pigment-based and not dye-based, which minimizes bleeding.
In order to achieve the candied effect, a top-coat or gloss clear must be applied.
In order to achieve a pearl effect, add 4501 Hot Rod sparkle White to any Candy Pigment.
Technical: * Candy pigments must be reduced. Candy-Pigment Colour 3:1 Auto Air 4012 /Wicked W500 High Performance Reducer
Spray Gun: 1.0mm – 1.2mm tip-size, touch-up gun 0.8mm operated @ 40 PSI
Apply in multiple light coats, 5 – 6 coats required for full finish
After thorough curing, top-coat with a catalyzed, urethane clear
