How to embroider a wall hanging collage
Step 1: Stretch a sheet of decorative paper in a wooden embroidery hoop. If the paper is thin or fragile, you can place a layer of fabric or another sheet of paper behind it.
Step 2: Cut out shapes from other pieces of paper and arrange them on the hoop. Thread a needle with embroidery floss of a contrasting colour, tie a secure knot at one end and stitch through the layers of paper to hold them in place.
Step 3: Trim the edges of the hoop paper, leaving approximately 1/2 inch all around. Apply white glue to the inside edge of the embroidery hoop and fold the paper inward, pressing firmly to secure it in place.
