1. Use the drill bit to drill holes in the wooden base.

2. Cut the sticks to the desired length.

3. Insert the sticks into the base. Paint the base, if desired.

4. Screw the ring hook into the base.

5. Cut slits in the ends of the sticks to attach the fishing line.

6. Draw one or more shapes on the felt and cut them out. To create a 3D effect, cut out two identical shapes, place them back to back, sew them together and fill the inside.

7. Make tiny holes at the top of each felt shape and string the fishing line through the holes. Hang the felt shapes with the lengths of fishing line from the ends of the sticks attached to the wooden base. You can also sew the felt shapes directly to the line.

8. Hang the mobile from the ceiling above the baby’s bed or in another visible spot.

Tips

Use branches and cord for a more rustic looking mobile!

Make sure that the mobile is placed high enough to be out of the baby’s reach to avoid any risk of choking or strangulation with the fishing line.
