Gingerbread Man

from $2.99

Gingerbread cookies are definitely delicious, but they don’t last very long. Use these culinary treats as inspiration for creating a character made of felt that is just as adorable, but not temptingly tasty!

1. Trace the outline of a gingerbread man on a piece of scrap paper to create a template. Use the template to retrace the shape of the gingerbread man on the cardstock and cut out the shape with a precision knife.

2. Place the cardboard cutout on the felt and cut the shape out twice, making sure that the felt cutout is one centimetre bigger than the cardboard cutout all the way around.

3. Use hot glue to glue the felt cutouts to either side of the cardboard cutout.

4. Thread the yarn through the needle and stitch around the entire edge of the felt.

5. Decorate the gingerbread man with tiny strands of ribbon and other decorative accessories to be glued on with hot glue.

Add a ribbon to the back of the gingerbread man in order to hang him on the wall or in your Christmas tree!
