Product Details

The zigzag is a perfect way to fill in outlined areas or create ribbed-sweater and cuff effects. You can also use tight zigzags to cover the entire sideof your cake—they look great!


1. Fit the tip to the end of the decorating bag and fill the bag halfway with medium consistency icing. Hold the bag at a 45 degree angle at 3 o’clock
(9 o’clock if you are piping in the opposite direction), with tip lightly
touching the surface.
2. Steadily squeeze and move your hand in a tight up-and-down motion as you move toward the right (or left).
3. Continue piping up and down, applying steady pressure. To end, stop pressure and pull tip away. For more elongated zigzags, move your hand to the desired height while maintaining steady pressure. For a more
relaxed look, simply increase the width as you move the bag along.
4. Repeat as you move in a straight line with a continuous up-and-down motion.
