Quilling: Foliage

There are many techniques for rolling and folding quilling paper to create foliage. Here’s a simple technique using two quilling combs:

1. Attach two combs together with adhesive tape.

2. Insert a green paper strip between the rows of teeth and weave them so that they form an “S” along the entire length of the comb.

3. On the very end of the strip, apply a dab of glue and fold the piece over onto what would be the stem.

4. When the glue is dry, slide the paper leaf off of the combs.

5. Repeat steps 1-4.

6. Glue the flat sides of the pieces together to complete the frond.
