Royal & Langnickel Zen™ Series 83 paintbrushes are comprised of a blend of soft and stiff synthetic hair and natural hair. They are the perfect combination of softness and strength, designed to hold generous amounts of water and colour. Great resilience ensures delicate or bold strokes can be made easily. The silver ultra-metallic ABS handles can soak in water without swelling, cracking, or chipping, and offer a bevelled scraper edge for highlighting, burnishing, scraping and colour removal. Ideal for watercolour, inks and fluid acrylics.
This pack contains 5 short handle paintbrushes: wash (3/4 in), soft scrubber 10, round wash MD, round 6 and mop (1/2 in).
Care
Caring for paintbrushes is essential to keeping them in good working condition and to their life span.
- Watercolours: dip the paintbrush in water and rinse in warm water
- Oil: dip the paintbrush in a solvent such as Taltine. Clean in soapy water and rinse in warm water
- Acrylic: clean in soapy water and rinse in warm water
Practical information
- Never let dry before cleaning
- Using a hydrating paintbrush cleaner after using Taltine or soap prevents bristles from drying and keeps the supple shape of the paintbrush.
