Flow into fall! In this two-hour all-level workshop, you will learn how to create an October landscape on Yupo paper using alcohol ink. Working loosely around a reference photo, you will explore colour mixing and layering, as well as guiding the medium using paintbrushes and rubbing alcohol. This workshop is all about letting the inks flow … and tuning into your own creative flow!
Open to beginners and intermediates.
Ages 14 to 99.

Part 1: Material overview & underpainting
To begin, Gabrielle will discuss all the necessary materials. You will then create an underpainting layer.
Part 2: Layering, finishing touches & cleaning up
In Part 2, Gabrielle will continue to demonstrate how to build your landscape with more ink layers. To conclude, you will add any finishing touches and explore how to efficiently clean your brushes and workspace.
