Landscape Artist of the Year

DeSerres is the sponsor of art material on the Canadian version of the tv show Landscape Artist of the Year. The show premieres on February 16 at 9 pm on Makeful. Discover a group of artists challenged to paint beautiful landscapes while competing to earn the title of landscape artist of the year. The series will be rebroadcast on CBC later this year.

The Artist Project

Artist Project is an art fair that showcases the work of 250+ emerging and established artists and connects 15,500+ art lovers of all tastes and experiences with the most talented artists. From collectors and curators, to gallerists and designers, visitors can explore and discover works of art from top contemporary artists from Canada and abroad.

Montreal Museum of Fine Arts

The MMFA welcomes a million visitors annually. Quebec’s most visited museum, it is one of the most popular museums in Canada, and ranks eighteenth among art museums in North America. The Museum’s original temporary exhibitions combine various artistic disciplines – fine arts, music, film, fashion and design – and are exported around the world. Its rich encyclopedic collection, distributed among five pavilions, includes international art, world cultures, decorative arts and design, and Quebec and Canadian art. The MMFA complex includes Bourgie Hall, a 460-seat concert hall.

The MMFA is one of Canada’s leading publishers of art books in French and English, which are distributed internationally. The Museum also houses the Michel de la Chenelière International Atelier for Education and Art Therapy, the largest educational complex in a North American art museum, enabling the MMFA to offer innovative educational, wellness and art therapy programmes.

Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec

The functions of the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec are to make known, promote and preserve Québec art of all periods, from ancient art to contemporary art, and to ensure a place for international art through acquisitions, exhibitions and other cultural activities.

The Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec is located on the Plains of Abraham. Its four pavilions house a collection of over 38,000 works dating from the 17th century to present day. On top of world-class exhibitions and cultural activities.

National Gallery of Canada

Among its principal missions is to increase access to excellent works of art for all Canadians.

Creative Thursdays at The National Gallery of Canada offers visitors the chance to learn about art techniques on selected Thursday evenings. Visitors drop in for demonstrations by artists and get creative themselves!

Opération Enfant Soleil

Opération Enfant Soleil raises funds to develop high-quality paediatrics and to contribute to various projects for all the children in Quebec. Thanks to the funds collected, more than a hundred projects are realized each year in hospitals and regional organizations as well as in major pediatric centers. Since 1988, more than $ 240 million has been donated across the province thanks to the generosity of thousands of Quebecers, in support of volunteers and the dedication of partners.

Festival Chromatic

Chromatic’s main purpose is to celebrate all visual arts. Reason why they are in the center of all its concerns during the festival where a place is ensured for social and fun gatherings. From May 26 to June 2, Chromatic festival will bring together artists, audiences of all ages and creative industries around an impressive exhibition that combines creativity and artistic innovation, through four components: Expo Chromatic, Chromatic Night, Chromatic Kids and Chromatic Pro.

As one of Mississauga, Ontario’s pillar arts and culture organizations and its premier visual art centre, VAM concentrates its efforts on three areas of excellence: Art Education, Art Exhibition and Community Engagement.

The Dr Clown Foundation is an innovative arts-in-healthcare organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life of hospitalized children and seniors in long-term care facilities through the interventions of its therapeutic clowns that combine personal contact, games and imagination.
