Abstract is the result of three years of research and by the Sennelier expert lab team. It is a fine acrylic paint which meets all the stringent quality demands that are a guarantee of Sennelier paints. The pigment concentration gives it a creamy-to-thick consistency which compares with Heavy-Body paints, and they have incomparable covering power. The paint is a pleasure to handle with a brush, a palette knife or straight out of the pouch using a paint tip. Ease of application onto multiple surfaces makes it very popular with students, professional painters, and street artists alike.

With abstract, there are no surprises when choosing a colour. There's no difference between the colour you can see from the outside of the pouch to what you squeeze out.

The Abstract line has 60 shades, 34 of which are made from a single pigment, which include:

• To thin, use Tri-Art Acrylic Mediums, or water.
• Do not mix with oils, mineral spirits or turpentine. 
• Tri-Art acrylics will adhere very well to most surfaces. Adhesion to non-absorbent surfaces will be improved if roughened first with sandpaper or steel wool. 
• Tri-Art acrylic will not adhere well to oily or greasy surfaces. 
• Keep brushes and tools wet during use. 
• Clean brushes and tools with soap and water after use.

• to slow drying time, use Golden Retarder
• To dilute Golden paints, use water or mediums suited for acrylics
• Tool maintenance: clean brushes with soapy water
• Surfaces: most surfaces, including canvas, cardboard, wood and metal
• Drying time: about 15 minutes for a thin coat, and about three hours for a thick coat (about ¾ in.)
