How to make a paper advent village
Step 1: Download and print all 4 paper house templates provided in the attached PDF. Either print the patterns directly onto cardstock or trace the paper templates onto cardstock. Cut out the templates along the solid lines.
Step 2: Flip your templates over so that the blank side is facing up and the crease lines are not visible. Using a rubber brayer, ink your stamps with Golden Open acrylic paint. Stamp numbers on each of the house templates from 1 to 24. Decorate the paper templates with stamped textures and patterns.
Step 3: When the paint has dried, turn the templates over and crease each dotted line. Score the dotted lines with a bone folder and ruler before folding them to get a crisp crease.
Step 4: Apply glue or double-sided tape to the tabs. Fold and glue your houses together.
Step 5: Arrange your houses on a table, hiding candy or small toys underneath them. The countdown is on! Lift a numbered house and reveal its surprise each day!
