PITT Artist Pens are famous for combining a modern brush nib design with a tradition of India ink. India ink offers artists odourless, permanent, waterproof, lightfast inks with a large variety of vibrant colours. The durable nib gives the freedom to create versatile ink brush strokes of broad, medium to narrow with an even application of colour.

The high-quality brush point works both straight and bent without breaking. While the light colours are transparent and, thus, well-suited to varnishing techniques, the dark colours have good covering qualities. Applications

On wet paper, PITT Artist Pens behave like India ink flowing in the paper and can still be reworked with a brush. Once dry, however, they are permanent and cannot be dissolved.

It is possible to paint or colour drawings using watercolours, once the ink is sufficiently dry. This will not affect the super bright colours and deep black ink.

It goes without saying that the PITT artist pens are well suited to all conventional techniques using traditional markers. Their significantly higher lightfastness gives them a higher advantage.

1. Fill a dropper with Colorex ink
2. Load the dropper directly into the marker through the black valve (full load = 5 droppers). Wipe off any excess ink around the valve. Wait a few minutes for the tip to absorb the ink.
3. The marker is now ready to use.
4. After use, clip the cap tightly to prevent the tip from drying out, and store the marker horizontally.

• White and metallic colours (Rich Gold, Light Gold and Silver) are not compatible due to their pigmented composition.
• To prolong the use of Colorex Markers, you can change the tip using the refill tip pack available.
