Designed for use on most surfaces, Pebeo Spray is a water-based (except Chrome colours) acrylic spray paint with a unique composition that combines very low-odour hydro soluble resins with very high-quality pigments. Solvents have been replaced by a water-based mixture, which allows for a slightly longer drying time than solvent-based spray paints, and results in a low odour, multi-surface paint (except in Chrome colours). The colours are permanent and opaque, and are available in a variety of effects: mat, glossy, fluorescent, pearl, glitter, chrome, chalk, chalkboard, granite. Application: Apply on a clean and degreased surface. For best results on porous surfaces such as raw wood, it is recommended to apply white or black Gesso PEBEO Spray as an undercoat. Undeniably modern, Studio XL oils is adequate for all techniques, from glazing to working in layers. The quality of the pigment grounding process reinforces the vitality of the colours and increases the fineness of the paste. The addition of polymerized oils increases its adherence.

Practical information:

Meets ASTM standards with respect to stability and light.

Create magnificent stained glass effects on glass using the remarkably transparent Vitrea 160 colours. Available in glossy or frosted, these ready-to-use colours combine professional quality and ease of use. After baking at 160°C (325°F) in a domestic oven, the depth of the colour is enhanced and the paints become dishwasher safe. Applied on glass and crystal, the transparency of Vitrea 160 colours allows you to take full advantage of the light; however, Vitrea 160 may also be applied on other thermo-stable surfaces which can withstand a temperature of 160°C. Available in liquid, paste or felt tip markers, the Vitrea 160 colours display the same characteristics and properties. Either used alone or together, you are completely free to experiment with the effects and techniques of the paints. The glossy, frosted or shimmer appearance of the colours may be used as they are, or mixed together, providing an infinite variety of light and shadow effects. To thin colours, use the Vitrea 160 thinner. The gloss and frosted mediums are used to lighten the colours without changing their technical characteristics; iridescent medium, when mixed with colours, produces iridescent colours. Pébéo's Porcelain 150 can be applied on porcelain, earthenware and metal, and on any other support capable of withstanding a temperature of 150°C (300°F).

Use: After a 24-hour drying period, place the painted porcelain in a cold oven. Once a temperature of 150°C (300°F) has been reached, bake for 35 minutes. The colours then take on a real enamelled appearance and are dishwasher safe.

To make colours more liquid, use the Porcelain 150 thinner. A matte finish can be obtained by adding a few drops of matte medium to the colour. The shiny medium lightens the colours without causing them to fade.

Shake well before use and apply in only one direction. The thermoplastic film guaranties the possibility of restoration.

Varnishes increase the durability of acrylic colours.

Non-yellowing.

If a thicker coat of varnish is desired, apply several thin coats of gloss varnish prior to using a satin or mat finish. Let dry 15 to 20 minutes between each coat. As a final coat of varnish, use the satin or mat finish, as desired. Apply in only one direction.
