Molotow Sketcher markers are designed for sketching and design rather than watercolour: the water-based ink dries quickly, layers without bleeding, and produces clean flat fills, making them particularly effective for rendering volume, cast shadows, and value transitions in illustration and product design. Two tip formats are available: brush tip for variable line weights and gradients, chisel tip for broad fills, ruled lines, and lettering. The grey range is one of the defining strengths of this line: cool grey, neutral grey, and green grey, each available in multiple values from very light to very dark, allow for greyscale rendering with a precision that is difficult to achieve with mixed greys.
