The original Mini was produced from 1959 to 2000 without major changes and was the precursor of many compact cars with front-engined engines and front-wheel drive that we know today. Although it is only 3 meters long, its 10-inch wheels were positioned at the corners and offered a cabin spacious enough to accommodate four adults. It was full of design ingenuity, such as a two-volume configuration with a transverse engine and the transmission and gearbox in the oil pan, and a double wishbone suspension at the front and swingarm at the rear with rubber cones in place of springs. In 1959, the British Motor Company launched two versions of the Mini based on its Morris and Austin brands: the Morris Mini Minor and the Austin Seven. Scale 1/24.
