There’s something so comforting about this scene — a golden retriever waiting on the porch, snow piled softly around the steps, and that warm holiday glow spilling through the windows. Golden Welcome for the Holidays feels like coming home. The red door, the twinkling lights, and the basket of wrapped gifts all capture that mix of excitement and calm that defines the season.

Painting it is pure joy — slow, cozy, and full of color. The mix of deep reds, soft whites, and golden tones makes every section feel alive. You can almost hear the quiet crunch of snow and the wag of that happy tail. It’s perfect for anyone who loves dogs, holiday traditions, or simply wants to escape into a scene that feels familiar and peaceful.

Once you’ve finished, hang it proudly — or gift it to someone who loves dogs or decorating for the holidays. It’s a sweet reminder that the best welcomes are the ones that come from the heart (and sometimes, from a wagging tail).
