Description

This Winsor & Newton transparent multi-surface primer comes in a 250ml tub and makes surfaces that are not naturally water-resistant suitable for watercolor. Its unique feature is its colorless finish: the grain of wood, the texture of a metal plate, or the transparency of glass remain visible beneath the paint layer. It is ideal for watercolorists of all levels who want to use the surface itself as an element of their composition. Two coats applied with a brush are sufficient to achieve calibrated absorption, similar to that of watercolor paper.
