Permanent, semi-transparent, and moderately tinted, this brilliant scarlet red with orange undertones is more vibrant than Cadmium Scarlet or Permanent Scarlet. It is a modern synthetic-organic pigment. While close in strength to its cousin Perylene Scarlet, it disperses more evenly and has a less granular texture.
