Great for illustrators and artists, Chameleon Color Tone markers add depth and dimension to your work with just one pen! These versatile markers can be used as a regular alcohol-based markers or, combined with the Toning Medium in the Mixing Chamber to change the colour of either nib to achieve a multitude of tones.

These twin-tipped markers have a bullet tip on one end and a super soft brush tip on the other. The bullet tip is ideal for outlining, drawing, working with small areas and precision colouring. The brush tip has a “paintbrush” feel. Its soft fibrous structure allows ink to flow beautifully across the paper for bigger colour gradations.

Chameleon Color Tone markers feature professional artist-quality alcohol-based inks. The nontoxic ink is low-odour and acid-free. For best results, smoother blends, transitions and to avoid bleeding, use paper, card stock or illustration boards designed for alcohol-based inks.

To use:

  1. Remove the marker from the mixing chamber.
  2. Choose either the bullet or brush nib, and remove the corresponding cap.
  3. Hold the marker in a vertical position with the mixing chamber on top.
  4. Gently place the mixing chamber onto the nib until the two nibs touch. Hold for 5 to 35 seconds depending on the tone desired. The longer the Mixing Chamber rests on the nib, the paler the tone will be.

Store pens horizontally; this helps distribute the ink evenly and stops it from settling at either end.

Store in a cool dry place.

Do not leave in direct sunlight.

Always replace both caps before storing.

For adult use only, for arts and crafts. Not intended for use by children under 14 years of age.
