Decorative Paint

Pébéo porcelain paint is water-based. Easy to use, if offers a great choice of colours miscible with one another, shiny and resistant to light. 

Pébéo's Porcelain 150 can be applied on porcelain, earthenware and metal, and on any other support capable of withstanding a temperature of 150°C (300°F).

Use: After a 24-hour drying period, place the painted porcelain in a cold oven. Once a temperature of 150°C (300°F) has been reached, bake for 35 minutes. The colours then take on a real enamelled appearance and are dishwasher safe.

To make colours more liquid, use the Porcelain 150 thinner. A matte finish can be obtained by adding a few drops of matte medium to the colour. The shiny medium lightens the colours without causing them to fade.

Care: Clean paintbrushes in soapy water.

Mod Podge Hard Coat is an insulating glue that is water-based and non-toxic. It dries quickly, becomes transparent, and gives furniture a durable finish. 

Important note:

Allow to dry for 15-20 minutes between each application.

• Bake in a domestic oven for 35 minutes at 160°C (325F).
• Clean the surface before application.

• Before working a surface, use a cleaner to remove any greasy residue. This will allow better dye adhesion. 
• The application of a matte or glossy top coat is also strongly recommended in order to protect the dye.

Wash surface with rubbing alcohol or window cleaner before application. This step is essential as it removes grease and dirt, allowing the best possible adhesion of the strip onto the surface.
