Gallery Frame vs. Regular Frame
A gallery frame is generally deeper and thicker than a regular frame. It is designed to accommodate both gallery-profile and standard-profile canvases without the canvas extending beyond the back of the frame. What Is a Floater Frame?
As the name suggests, a floater frame is designed to make the artwork appear as though it is floating within the frame rather than being pressed behind a sheet of glass. This creates an attractive three-dimensional sense of depth. Floater frames are especially well suited for stretched canvases.

Unlike traditional frames, floater frames are front-loading: the canvas is inserted from the front and secured from the back. This design allows the entire edge of the artwork to remain visible, with no portion hidden by the frame.

Unlike traditional frames, floating frames feature a front-loading design; the canvas is dropped in from the front and secured in place from the rear.
