After baking at 160°C (325°F) in a domestic oven, the depth of the colour is enhanced and the paints become dishwasher safe. Applied on glass and crystal, the transparency of Vitrea 160 colours allows you to take full advantage of the light; however, Vitrea 160 may also be applied on other thermo-stable surfaces which can withstand a temperature of 160°C. Available in liquid, paste or felt tip markers, the Vitrea 160 colours display the same characteristics and properties. Either used alone or together, you are completely free to experiment with the effects and techniques of the paints. If you're looking for a quality moulding plaster, this is it. With its exceptional hardness, Gédéo Resin Plaster is comparable to polyester resins and is ideal for projects requiring finesse, strength and whiteness. It's extra-hard, lump-free and very fine, so bubbles don't form. It's so easy to use, you can reproduce any shape for guaranteed professional results. It sets quickly, becoming dry after just 15 minutes, and your plaster cast can be removed from the mould after 30 minutes. When mixing, cold water slows down the setting of the plaster, while hot water speeds it up.

You can also paint it once dry! If you'd rather colour it in, you can add a water-based acrylic paint colour to it. This will create a marbled colour effect on the surface. A lovely product professionals, craftspeople or students will enjoy.

Usage:

Recommended mixing ratio: 3 parts powder to 1 part water
Start of setting: 8 minutes
End of setting: 15 minutes
Demoulding: recommended after 30 minutes

Preparation:

Pour water into a large container. Disperse the plaster over the entire surface of the water. Let the plaster absorb the water for 1 to 2 minutes without mixing. Then mix gently and allow air bubbles to rise. Never add water after mixing. Slowly pour the plaster along the wall of the mould. For complex shapes, empty and start a second time.

Tips:

Cold water slows the setting of the plaster, hot water or beating speeds it up.
To speed up the drying process, place the object in a microwave oven for a few moments.
Milk mixed with water will polish the object giving it a marbled appearance.
Add an acrylic colour to the water to colour the plaster in the mass. Spreading it in the preparation will give marbled effects.
