110 ml leather masking rubber. Rubber with a design that can be laminated once dry to create reserve areas in leather or synthetic leather, for drawing or writing. Application in thick layers. The drying time varies according to the thickness applied, about 30 minutes (possibility of accelerating drying with a hair dryer). The bluish color makes it easy to identify reserve areas; it darkens when drying. It is possible to apply it directly on the substrate and then apply the color to it, once the gum has dried, or to draw with an eraser on a color already applied and to cover the masking eraser with another color to have a color reserve area and not the support uncovered. Once dry, the rubber simply peels off with your fingers by rubbing and within a maximum of 15 days from its application. Setasilk is used as a traditional colour and on all types of silk : twill, pongee, crêpe de chine, georgette, damask... The water based gutta, has a thick consistency given for the completion of crimp. They soak into the fibers of the fabric perfectly, thereby blocking the Setasilk colours that are applied afterwards.
They can be applied directly with the tube or using a gutta nozzle. Once heated with an iron, gutta resists washing except for the colourless version, which is specially formulated to be removed in the water.

The new Setacolor Tie & Dye Set contains a selection of six vivid Light Fabric colours in 20 ml bottles (Primary Yellow, Hermes Red, Raspberry, Gitane Blue, Cyan, Azure), as well as six droppers and an instruction manual. These water-based paints were specifically designed for decorating most light-coloured textiles: their light texture does not alter the suppleness and finesse of fabrics.

To use in a Tie & Dye technique, simply combine Setacolor paints with water and submerge the chosen fabric. In order for your decorated fabric to become permanent and washing machine resistant, heat-set with an iron on cotton setting for five minutes on the reverse side of the fabric, or place in the oven at 150°C for five minutes.
