Sennelier pastel card paper 19x25 inches

Specially developed for the technique of soft pastel, the Sennelier's pastel card paper consists of a microfibrous layer of cork with neutral pH, applied to a pure wooden cardboard. The microfibres create an abrasive surface, catching the soft pastels. It is a very coarse paper, ideal for blurred or summary work and not recommended for very fine details.

Sheet size: 65 cm x 50 cm (about 19x25 in)
Weight: 360 gr.

Nice neutral colour, and I love the feel of the paper. Holds pastels really well. Can’t use a liquid underpainting on this paper - only a dry underpainting is possible. Otherwise, I really like it and would try it again.
