A light version of modeling paste is also available, with many of the same properties but without the weight that can affect large works or lighter supports.

This crackling effect is achieved using a two part process. To increase the adhesion of the paste and promote cracking, it is strongly advised to prepare the surface with phase 1 (included). The crackle effect modeling paste (phase 2) has a very paste like consistency and should be applied with a palette knife.

*The depths of the cracks vary with the thickness of the application of the paste. More cracks with a thin application and fewer cracks with a thick application. It may be used alone or mixed with acrylic colors (75% paste/25% color)
