Pébéo Colorex markers stand out through a feature that is rare in this category: they are refillable. An empty marker sold separately allows artists to create custom colour mixes or refill depleted shades, reducing long-term costs and making entirely custom colours possible. The palette available individually covers an unusually wide spectrum, with shades drawn from fine art painting vocabulary such as Payne's grey, raw sienna, sanguine, and sepia, alongside vivid hues and fluorescents that lean more toward illustration and graphic design.
