The Conté black stone pencil is soft, indelible and mat. Its black colour is intense, fatty and velvety. An ideal pencil for nudes, landscapes and quick sketches.

At first it was great until I had to sharpen.Tried sharpening, conte kept breaking… doesn't seem to be one piece. Does’t fit in regular sharpener, need a larger hole. Chunks keep falling out of wood. Had to keep sharpening now its half the size. Luckily you have to buy two online.
