The Pure Kolinsky Sable brush (size 2) offers spring and resistance and is ideal for precision and detail work. The Pure Squirrel brush (size 0) has unrivalled colour and water retention capacity and is perfect for very long strokes and colour washes. The Syrus brush (size 0) achieves the retention of sable and the flexibility of synthetic, making it ideal for a wide range of projects. The Isaqua brush (size 2) is a synthetic fibre brush with similar characteristics to a sable brush. Very responsive and springy, this fibre is perfect for high-precision work.
Paintbrush care:
Paintbrush care is essential to maintaining their condition and extending their life span. Always clean brushes before the paint dries. Using a hydrating paintbrush cleaner after using Taltine or soap prevents bristles from drying out and helps maintain their suppleness.
Watercolour: clean with warm water
Oil: dip the paintbrush in a solvent such as Taltine; clean with warm soapy water and a clear water rinse
Acrylic: clean with warm soapy water and a clear water rinse
