Capture the essence of fall through monochromatic explorations! In this two-hour workshop, you will learn how to draw and paint a fall leaves composition using India ink. Explore line work and how to achieve tonal value with ink washes. A lovely workshop for easing into the comforting vibes of fall.
*Some prior experience with drawing and painting with ink is recommended.

Part 1: Material overview, initial graphite sketch & line work
In Part 1, Gabrielle will go over all the necessary materials. She will then sketch out the leaf composition and demonstrate how to do line work using a waterproof ink pen.
Part 2: Tonal washes, background & finishing touches
In Part 2, Gabrielle will demonstrate painting with ink washes and creating tonal variation. You will then paint your background and add any final details.
