Part 1 : Exploring the materials
To begin, we will review all the materials needed to complete the project. We will then explore the different types of paper, as well as the best ways to stretch them so that they do not warp as you work.
Part 2 :
Time to get creative!
In this second part, you will be guided through the step-by-step creation of your nightscape. You will learn how to work with watercolours on a wet surface, as well as how to use liquid frisket. You will explore the notion of atmospheric depth and Marie-Hélène will also show you different techniques for painting conifers.
