MATERIALS:
- Glass ornaments
- Parchment paper
- Calligraphy set or marker
- Pébéo mirror effect kit
- Glitter
- Ribbon
- Scissors
INSTRUCTIONS:
How to craft a festive place setting
Step 1:
Chose a festive font and carefully write the names of your guests on a piece of parchment paper using a calligraphy pen or marker.
Step 2:
Crop the paper around the name and use the Pébéo mirror effect kit to add gold foil to the edges.
Step 3:
Remove the metal top of a glass ornament and fill the bottom of the ornament with glitter, confetti and ribbon curls. Ribbon curls will help support your name tag and make it more visible to your guest.
Step 4:
Gently roll the parchment name tag until it is small enough to insert into the ornament. Be careful not to crease the paper! Place the name as close to the sides of the glass ball as possible so that the ribbons and glitter fall behind it and don’t obscure the name. Let the name uncurl inside the ball.
Step 5:
Replace the metal top, add some curled ribbon to it and set your table!
TIPS:
- Make a paper funnel to help you pour glitter inside the ornament
- Make sure that your name is facing the right way before you insert it into the ball
- After dinner hang it in your tree!
