Get creative in the studio! Kathryn will guide you through painting techniques and creative exercises using watercolour paints, artist-grade/student-grade materials and household items. Students will create a series of experimental watercolour paintings on cold-press watercolour paper. Unleash your creativity with everyday items like salt, plastic bags, tooth brushes and more!
Open to beginners and intermediates.

Part 1: Get to Know Your Materials
To begin, Kathryn will provide an overview of the materials with visual examples of their applications, and demonstrate create watercolour painting techniques.
Part 2: Get Creative in the Studio!
In part two, Kathryn will guide you through the step-by-step application of the creative watercolour practices she uses in her art practice. Participants are welcome to explore their artistic agency and create a series of wa-tercolour paintings on paper.
