If you can draw it, you can paint it! In this two-part workshop, visual artist Kathryn Wadel will help you develop your drawing and painting practice. She’ll guide you through creative exercises that blend drawing and painting techniques using graphite, watercolour pencils and watercolour paints. A great workshop for exploring the art of transitioning between mediums.

Part 1 :
Get to know your materials and try techniques
Sunday, November 6th at 1 P.M. (EST)
In Part 1, Kathryn will review all the necessary materials and demonstrate simple drawing techniques using graphite and watercolour pencils on paper. You’ll have the opportunity to practice these techniques, ask questions and develop your artistic skills.
Part 2 : Combine drawing and painting techniques
Sunday, November 13th at 1 P.M. (EST)
In Part 2, Kathryn will show you how to combine drawing and painting through layering techniques using graphite, ink pens, watercolour pencils and watercolour paints. You’ll be able to further de-velop your drawing and painting skills with helpful guidance from the instructor – and create a beautiful artwork in the process!

✓ Watercolour paintbrushes (flat and round, sizes between 2-8)
