Following on from the major introductory course in graphite. Practise what you have learnt from observational drawing to create a hand study.
Open to beginners and intermediates.
Ages 12 to 99.
*This workshop is recorded (you will receive the video link in 3 to 5 business days after the workshop).
Part 1: Tiling and positioning the drawing
This study will consolidate your skills of observation and precision in rendering shapes, angles, empty spaces and values, with the aim of achieving an increasingly accurate and skilful rendering of the drawing.
Part 2: Making the drawing
Use of tools, erasers, pencils, blurs and grey scale to make the drawing as realistic as possible. Here, the model will allow us to work on the subtlety of values and contrasts (blurred and sharp) as well as attention to detail.
