Calligraphy Gift Wrap

Kraft paper, wooden letter, some wool and beautiful handwriting… That’s all you need to convey your warmest season’s greetings.
Project developed in collaboration with Chloé Comte, artist and DIY blogger.

MATERIALS:

  • Brown or white kraft paper
  • Posca marker, white 1.5 mm or red 1.5 mm
  • Wooden letter
  • White and red wool
  • Scissors

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1 :

Cut a piece of brown kraft paper big enough to wrap the gift.

Step 2 :

Using a white Posca marker, write the word of your choice by changing the calligraphy from one line to another.

Step 3 :

Wrap the gift.

Step 4 :

Wrap white wool around the gift several times and make a double knot.

Step 5 :

Place the wooden letter on the wool and attach it by creating a pretty loop.

TIPS:

The wooden letter can be reused as a placeholder on a Christmas table (attached to a napkin, for example), or as an ornament in a tree!
