- Modge Podge

INSTRUCTIONS:
How to make your desk shine
Step 1:
To make a glittery magazine holder and accessory cup, cut a your foamboard into the following dimensions:
Accessory cup:- 3 x 4 inches (cut 4)
- 3 x 3.5 inches (cut 1)
Magazine holder:
- 10 x 12 inches (cut 2)
- 3.5 x 5 inches (cut 1)
- 3.5 x 12 inches (cut 1)
- 3.5 x 10.5 inches (cut 1)
Step 2:
Take the two 10 x 12 inch foamboard pieces of the magazine holder, draw marks 5 inches up from the bottom on the long side and 4 inches in from the top on the short side. Cut the foamboard diagonally between these marks.
Step 3:
Assemble the foamboard pieces for the pen cup and magazine holder, and glue them in place with a hot glue gun.
Step 4:
With a wide flat paintbrush, paint the outside of the foamboard with Modge Podge one side at a time.
Step 5:
While the Modge Podge is still wet, sprinkle glitter over your foamboard. Tap the excess glitter onto a sheet of scrap paper and return it to the bottle. Repeat these last 2 steps for all sides except the bottom.
TIPS
- To prevent loose glitter from flaking off, varnish your desk accessories with another coat of gloss Modge Podge
- Clean up with soap and water
