Part 1: Creating a playful subject and understanding its 3D structure
To begin, Richard will briefly introduce himself. You will first explore different elements to create your subject: basic volumes, different structures, character movement and adventure subjects. You will then create your sketch on your surface, a coloured mixed media paper.
Part 2: Colouring with Posca markers
In Part 2, Richard will present the necessary materials: grey PaintON paper and Posca markers. You will then add colour to your artwork, while creating light and shadow effects, as well as your playful background.
