Golden OPEN acrylics are a highly pigmented, professional and slow-drying line of acrylic paints. The increased working time expands their use to include more traditional techniques once only possible with oils, such as portraiture and landscape painting. They are also suitable for some printmaking techniques.

This 8-colour selection is capable of producing some of the cleanest, brightest mixes. This enables artists to create a wide array of hues, shades and tints that can be supplemented anytime with other Golden OPEN acrylic colours. OPEN acrylics have a remarkably relaxed working property that facilitates blending, softening, shading, glazing and fine detail. This set also includes a bottle of Golden OPEN thinner, a water-based additive designed to thin the consistency of OPEN acrylics without altering open time, as well as to maintain and adjust the workability of colours on the palette.
