How to weave wall art

Step 1: Set up and warp the loom according to the package instructions.

Step 2: Weave the yarn over and under until the end of the row. Being careful not to pull too tightly, weave back the way you came but this time, weave the yarn under the threads you previously went over and under the threads you had gone over. Do this for 3 rows, using the comb to adjust the threads and push them together tightly.

Step 3: Add fringe by looping yarn around 2 warp threads.

Step 4: Using various textures, thicknesses and colours, experiment with adding different yarns to your weaving. Continue weaving and arranging with the comb until you have almost reached the end of the loom and have approximately 6 inches of warp remaining.

Step 5: Remove the weaving from the loom. With a yarn needle, tuck in any loose yarn ends. Slide the loops of the warp threads over a stick and hang it up!
